Internet giant Google has tied up with Huawei for the manufacture of the next edition of its flagship phone, Nexus. Expected around September, Google is also planning to launch two cheaper Nexus phones this year. The report was revealed by China Research Director, Kevin Yang in China’s popular Social networking site, Weibo. However no details of the phone are revealed, which is disappointing news.

The California based company, in the past has teamed with HTC, Samsung, LG and Motorola for Nexus devices and Huawei joined the league of manufacturers. Nexus was launched in the year 2010 with HTC being the first producer and in the subsequent years, Google has paired with Samsung for Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. For the fourth and fifth edition of Nexus, Google joined hands with LG and for the last outing, Motorola was the manufacturer of Nexus. The phone was the highly successful product of Google which gave tough battle to Apple’s iPhone.

To make payments easier, Google is planning to come with Android Pay which can be included in the next Nexus. The fingerprinting technology is also rumoured to be in the packed Nexus.
